Frames: Apex aluminum frames are designed for easy transport and simple setup. Weighing 25% less than the Steel frames, the Aluminum Apex Series frames are the perfect solution for those who need the versatility of the Apex Canopy System, but want it in a much lighter package. The Apex Aluminum frames are constructed from aircraft quality anodized 1.8mm aluminum, and carry the same warranty as the traditional steel frames. If the primary goal in frame selection is lighter weight and simple transport, the Apex Aluminum Series Frames are the answer.
Tops: Premier Canopy Tops are made of 600D polyester fabric, and are available in a wide variety of colors. The benefit of using Polyester fabric is that it won't stretch like nylon does when it gets wet, and is less prone to weathering, and is generally more durable than nylon. It's a more expensive product, but the many performance benefits polyester offers make it a superior choice. All Apex tops are CPAI-84 and ULC-S-109 compliant for fire resistance, are UV resistant, color-fade resistant, and are 99% UV blocking for sunlight. Premier Tents follows an industry-leading four stage process in the manufacturing of our tops. First, before woven, the polyester fibers themselves are treated for water resistance. The fabric is then produced from these treated fibers, which then has a special water resistant UV blocking membrane sprayed on. The third step in fabric production is in the application of DuPont Teflon water/stain resistance. Only now is the fabric ready to meet the high demands and standards of Premier Tents. Once the top has been sewn to the proper dimensions, as a final step, a water resistant sealant is applied to all sewn areas on the upper portions of the tops. This effectively removes the seams as an entry point for rain.
